Pyramids

We joined a bus tour to Mexico City after a 12 hour over night bus ride a few bathroom breaks and a stop for breakfast, we arrived at the Teotihuacan Pyramids that are about 2 hours outside of Mexico City. This is the temple of the Sun, Lynn and our friend Steve climbed to the top. Lynn was very pleased with himself as there were younger people then him that he passed on his way up . Like any other place there were numerous items you could purchase, only these items were unique to to the pyramids. We saw a few items we thought we would purchase at a later time in Mexico City. Oh well we really did not need them

Looking into the compound as we drove around to find a place to park the bus the whole area covers about 20kms they have only unearthed about 3 kms so far.

I climbed up to the top of the moon temple and took a picture of the site, at the far end is a ball playing field. Seemed to us that you did not want to be the winning team as who ever won was sacrificed to the gods
