Lights at the marina

Wishing all are readers and friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

There was only two boats. With lots of lights this year for the first two weeks. But has more boats exchanges slips a few more sail boats threw up some lights but non of them was as good as the little power boat Noya Star. The joke is that we should give them are two stars.

Boys home

The home had a very nice lighted tree and the walls around the home had various painting with Christian says .

Boys home

We went with our friends Gaby's hair Salon to hand out gifts to the boys at the Hogar San Pablo home. Some gifts were toys, games clothing but the big hit was wrist watches.

Dec

Well Christmas is here in sunny Mazatlan. In December to help get us in the mood we have made Christmas goody bags for the staff that we interact with. The smiles and and the gratitude that they express is well worth it. Both the marina and the El Cid housing complex put on Christmas parties. We were lucky enough to attend the housing one this year. Below is the entertainment

Very large stage where numerous dancers, singers and jokers entertained.

Happenings

Hi
We are in Mazatlan, go here about 3 weeks ago. Was really hot and humid when we arrived but has now cooled off a bit. It took us about 1.5 hours to clear immigration and customs as they had 2 planes arrive at the same time and would only clear on plane at a time so it was a long wait. Think the other flight was late. Immigration has only 4 or 5 stations. O well it is Mexico no use getting uptight.

Have been to a couple of ball games, and the usual eat drink. Debbie is off this am with 11 other ladies to a Mexican breakfast fundraiser to provide food packages to people living in poor areas of the city.

The boat was in good shape when we got back except some fat large bird broke our vhf antenna at the top of the mast. Good thing my nephew is coming down next week and bringing a new one.
