After swearing that we would not leave the island this summer, we broke down and made a trip to Port Townsend. We have some great boating friends Katie and Phil who had been asking us to visit for a few years now.
Boy if we had know that once we drove up this steep curved drive-way we would be at an adult summer camp we would have been over years ago.
SV Dolphin Tales is a Beneteau 361. We have added lots of equipment to ready the boat for offshore sailing. Solent stay, SSB/Ham Radio, Updated Electronics(radar, navigation, AIS, etc),Solar Panels, Watermaker. Liferaft, Epirb, Hydrovane, etc etc. She is crewed by Canadian prairie stubble jumpers.
Dolphin Tales has completed voyages to many parts of the BC Coast and circumnavigated Vancouver Island and is now ready to broaden her horizons.
