What Have We Been Up TO?

Well in the last few weeks we have been to Carnival in Mazatlan , a week long celebration. We have had visitors from Victoria Lynn's Nephew Jerry and friend Evelyn. Been on a bus trip to Morelia. A trip to Copael and Conordia. And a car ride to a small Mexico village called San Ignacio with Bill and Janet from Optical Illusion. As well as doing the regular boat maintenance projects. Climbed the mast to wash down the rigging since we have not had any rain since California, and guess what? It rained two days latter.

Working on details and pictures for the blog of the trips, but we find it hard to make time to do it, what with volleyball in the pool, bingo, happy hour and visiting boating friends that are passing thru on their way to the Sea of Cortez.

We are also starting to work on the to do list when we leave the boat in Mazatlan when we return to Victoria mid April.

We also went to a baseball game the other day. Mexican League summer ball which is a step down from winter ball. Admission for three adults was 45 pesos about $4.50 Canadian . Beer was 17 pesos about $1.70.

And writing about beer, we also toured the Pacifico brewery were all the bottled Pacifico is made. Three shifts a day. So much beer and so little time. Debbie says Lynn needs to go home to dry out.

And last but not least we went to the Juarez market held each Sunday. It is a 12 block fruit , vegetable and flee market. Buyer beware. If you need a face plate for your car stereo you can find it here, but not the stereo that goes with it. If they don't have what you need then you probably do not need it.
